Jenny Maddox: Experience
My corporate career was with the John Lewis Partnership and involved roles in management, personnel and, for 10 years, training branch managers, buyers and directors. I have worked as an independent provider for over ten years and have a client group that includes senior executives, middle managers and team members, and spans groups and individuals who work in the education sector, in central government, the IT industry, professional services, retail, the financial sector, senior care, the NHS and the self employed.
During my time as an independent provider I have developed the ‘Choose You’ ™ approach to personal development, encouraging individuals not to change themselves but instead to understand themselves better so that they can choose to use the skills they have already to better effect.
I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to my role as a trainer and coach. I am also able to make practical use of my wide range of professional qualifications so that they really add value to what I do.
I am skilled not only as a coach but also in the design and delivery of training events which range in content from practical skills development to increasing the self-awareness, influence and personal effectiveness of those involved. I have also had the privilege and experience of working with geographically and culturally diverse teams and have run events involving delegates from all over the world.
I am qualified in several psychometric tools which, when appropriate, can be used to enhance the learning of groups and individuals (please see the pages on the different models under the “What We Do” heading).
